Made a killer T-1000 custom-

No real pics, but these do it justice.

Take Hartigan from the Sin City line.

Rip off the tie and overcoat, and add 4 coats of chrome spraypaint and you get something that looks almost exactly like this and this.

Not counting the day and a half I gave him to dry, this custom only took about 10 minutes. [img]graemlins/thumbs_up.gif[/img]

I never thought I would do a custom that I liked better than the T-1000 McF put out years ago.

I'm also going to bake and add some Sculpey in the shape of knives and stabbing weapons to the hands and arms.

Because of the multiple layers of paint, some of the detail (and the likeness) is gone from the figure, leaving a basic humanoid form and truly giving it the appearance of the T-1000 from the film when it is in its liquid form.

And articulation lines? None there. [img]smile.gif[/img]

Don't now, though.

It was great, but would have been better if they'd used chrome paint for the liquid metal parts instead of blackwashed silver.

I agree, they could have done a better metallic look to the fig, but I used Alumiflake paint for MY customs. Wanted to backwash'em though opted not.

After all of them (variants of my own), I liked the gunshot free version, with the helmet.
